MOVE in Transition: MOVE for 16 - 24 year-olds

This study provides the opportunity to specifically promote and monitor the use of MOVE for young adults aged 16-24 with profound and multiple disabilities.  Tom on MOVE in Transition choosing milk

“The Vodafone UK Foundation is proud to support the MOVE programme and, in particular, MOVE in Transition, which, for the first time, will enable the programme to be developed to meet the specific needs of 16-24 year olds with severe physical and learning disabilities in the UK.

As a Foundation we particularly focus on programmes which promote social inclusion and which benefit young people in the 16-24 year old age range - MOVE is therefore a perfect fit and we look forward to both seeing and supporting the positive difference it will make to the lives of this new target age group in the future".

Sarah Shillito, Senior Manager, The Vodafone UK Foundation

The initial results of the study have been very promising and a full report will be released in 2008.
