Movement is the cornerstone to learning – we learn by exploring the world around us. It’s easy to take for granted the basic movement that most of us make every day – giving someone a hug, going to the toilet or even just holding our head up to look out of the window.

For about 110,000 severely disabled children in the UK and a million across Europe, even these basic actions are difficult. That’s not to say they are impossible. Many of these children just need the chance to MOVE.

We work with parents, teachers, therapists and care teams across the UK and Europe to help to give these children more opportunities and possibilities for independent movement through the MOVE programme. In turn this can help to develop the child’s cognitive and communication skills, can improve health and social inclusion.

Above all, MOVE gives children the chance to be ... children!
